How Cisco Uses Global Savvy

The Challenge

Cisco, a highly collaborative and complex global company of over 70,000 employees, needed help in bridging cultures and distance as it expanded its development and technical centers worldwide.

Our work with Cisco has ranged from their stellar Global Technical Centers including those in Krakow, Mexico City, Brussels, and Bangalore, to their diverse offices in Riyadh, London, and San Jose. We wrote the white paper which helped Cisco set up its initial operations in Bangalore and helped them exceed their inclusion and diversity goals.

It is not always easy to get engineers excited about people skill training, but the Global Savvy cultural programs far exceeded their expectations. The 100 Advanced Service professionals who just attended the trainings talk about a significantly improved ability to influence, collaborate and communicate across cultures. This is just what we needed—no fluff, just what works. It was excellent.
